Inspired by a common passion for unique experiences, Design Hotels™ and The Auteurs, an international film website, have joined forces to create Hotel Cinematheque (www.designhotels.com/specials/hotelcinematheque).

Every two weeks a Design Hotels™ member property will be paired with a film based on a common location or theme. Travellers who book the featured hotel during this period, will receive an exclusive promotional code. This allows them to watch the high quality streaming movie on The Auteurs website complimentary, at any time.

The Auteurs hand-picked collection has an emphasis on international, foreign and classic films. The most recent pairing is Kube Hotel Paris with the movie Les Chansons d’Amour (Love Songs), a favourite at the Cannes Film Festival. Next up are the Sofa Istanbul with Climates, the fourth feature film of the Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan and the Cosmo Hotel Berlin with Rivers and Tides, the award-winning documentary by German filmmaker Thomas Riedelsheimer.
