PURO OASIS URBANO TO OPEN OWN MUSIC STUDIO
Berlin, September 29, 2010 – From the state-of-the-art digital audio system in the rooms to their first own releases labelled ‘Puro Music’ and ‘Puro Desert Lounge’ – Puro Oasis Urbano Puro Oasis Urbano, Palma´s stylish member of Design HotelsTM, has always been a synonym for soothing sounds and unforgettable parties. After the enlargement and re-opening in summer 2010, the hotel is now also the perfect venue for DJ music sessions, chic cocktail events, cool summer parties and festive happenings. In March 2011 the music concept will be brought to perfection, when Puro Oasis Urbano´s own Music Studio will open in the new Private Wing, a completely new area which can be hired exclusively by musicians, or small groups looking for a private space to celebrate.

Mats Wahlström, founder of Puro Oasis Urbano says: “Music has always been at heart and soul of Puro Oasis Urbano. The space is also great for groups, or those looking for privacy, because of the location in a separate wing”.

In 2011 the hotel will also introduce The Private Wing Room. This space in a separate wing has a high ceiling, an open fireplace and traditional mosaic flooring creating an authentic mix of Mallorquin design and contemporary style.

The Music studio is perfectly equipped with state-of-the-art technology. It will also be the base for Puro´s own remixes: The last albums Purobeach Volume Number VI and The Desert Lounge Volume Number III, released in April and July 2010, already hit sales records.

A Hedonist’s Haven
Since the hotel’s opening in 2004, Puro´s Opio Bar and Restaurant has been a popular nightspot where DJs play four nights a week to a stylish crowd of locals and guests. For those seeking a place to wind down afterwards, Purobeach with its stunning pool, cocktails and spa treatments is the ultimate option. The venue in the bay of Palma is also the perfect spot for a stylish party, with its terrace pool and event space for up to 200 guests.

For smaller gatherings the hotel has two new meeting rooms for 10 to 40 people. Small groups looking for fun and entertainment will love the Media Room with a 72’’ screen, video console, Mac computer and Internet access. Located on the ground floor next to the outdoor patio and furnished with comfortable seating and sofas, this eclectic room has the feeling of a classy living room. The Mandala Room on the upper floor is a spacious functional meeting space with natural light for up to 40 people. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the surrounding townhouses with their characteristic balconies.
