| THE DESIGN HOTELS™ YEARBOOK 08 FEATURING 38 NEW MEMBER HOTELS |
 |
Design Hotels™ issues its 2008 edition of the Design Hotels™ Yearbook featuring 38 new members. The boldly designed hardcover volume comprises over 650 pages that feature all member hotels with striking photography and in-depth architectural and design reporting.
In 2008, Design Hotels™ celebrates 15 years. “Looking Forward” is the Yearbook theme that reflects the company’s mission to spur on a new era in travel and hotel design. In this anniversary issue, nine selected designers and hoteliers, including Karim Rashid, members of FG Stijl and Richard Hassell of WOHA, share their ideas for future and progressive hotel design.
Claus Sendlinger, founder and CEO of Design Hotels™ comments: “We are proud to present the expanded portfolio in this 2008 edition. Each page of the Yearbook tells a different story, accenting what makes each property so exemplary and one-of-a-kind. It is a compilation of outstanding design, but also reveals conscientious building methods, novel uses of high technology, interactive, as well as emotional environments and individualised service.”
